Moreno is a unique hotel where enormous rooms, double height ceilings and magnificent spaces coexists with history, combined with state-of-the-art decoration and present-day comfort.
From the terrace in the top floor, guest can enjoy stunning views to the river and the countless bucolic domes from the historical and elegant city of Buenos Aires.
You can also choose to taste the best Argentinean wines at the onsite restaurant & winery Aldo´s, BA´s most acclaimed wine bar and restaurant. During the evenings, BeBop Jazz Club in the basement features live jazz bands & cocktails in a lively atmosphere.
The Hotel stands in an Art Deco building, built by the Hungarian architect Johannes Kronfuss in 1928, and is declared part of Buenos Aires City Heritage. Between 2006 and 2007 the building was completely restored to reopen as the Moreno Hotel in mid-2007. As part of the integral renovation and in collaboration with the Buenos Aires historical buildings office, key areas such as the facade, main entrance and stairs where restored including the original tiles and vitraux in order to maintain intact the art deco heritage.
In 2008 the hotel was awarded by the Argentinean Architects Association as the second best integral renovation project in Argentina for historical buildings, valuing the conservation of its patrimonial value throughout the renovation and re-adaptation to hotel use.
In 2013 the hotel went through an integral renovation process of its installations and equipment in order to keep updated with the latest technology and comfort for our guests.
Nowadays our guests can enjoy one of the most important Art Deco exponents in Argentina blended with the most updated equipment and present day comfort.
